Over the past few years, with a few exceptions, I have been treated by Dr Beugelink at Brocklebank. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to express my views on the care I have received. With each visit, I have been treated with the utmost courtesy and consideration. It takes effort between patient and the skills and patience of the doctor to build a relationship of trust and happily this has proved to be the case. I believe Dr Beugelink's clinical and diagnostic skills to be of the highest order. Further, I would suggest that any medical student on placement or newly qualified doctor considering a career as a G.P. would do well to look at his approach to patient care and use it as a model for their own future practice and take with them the knowledge of how best to emulate the values of this approach. At times, when this extremely busy practice appears to be markedly overstretched, it is rare indeed to have contact with a G.P. who is able to take the time to listen and also give the patient undivided attention and the care needed. I have been a registered patient at Brocklebank for approximately 30 years. I have witnessed many changes over the time, not least the marked change in local demographics and with it an immense increase in patient numbers. Would I prefer never to have wait to book an appointment nor to wait beyond my appointment time? Of course. Realistically, whilst our doctors are placed under such huge pressures this situation will not change.

Dr Beugelink understands that there is more to medicine than handing out prescriptions.He listens and explains things carefully, and treats the patient like a human being, which,in my opinion, has a totally beneficial effect on one's health.

I have been a patient of Dr Beugelink for over ten years and i would certainly recommend him to anybody,because he has a very friendly and caring attitude which attribute to his work and make patients feel comfortable to discuss their problems.He is also a calm and patient listener and i am sure most of his patients would agree with me that he is a very good and reliable diagnosist.
